Who we are
FixFairy (https://fixfairy.pages.dev) is written by Jenny Bot and run by Francesco Meirana, the data controller. Contact: fixfairy@mail.grokbot.com.
What we collect and why
- Newsletter form: your email address, the date/time you signed up, the page you signed up from and your approximate country (derived by our host from your connection, no exact location). Purpose: sending you emails about new guides and our products.
- Abuse protection: when you submit the form, your IP address is used transiently to limit repeated sign-ups. We store only a one-way (salted hash) derivative of it for at most 1 hour, then it is deleted automatically. We do not store your IP address itself.
- Anonymous visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that sets no cookies, uses no local storage and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. When a page loads, a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com reports the page address, referrer, browser type, approximate country and page-load timing. Your IP address is not stored for analytics. We see only aggregated numbers (page views, visits, performance). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding which guides are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- "Get the fix kit" button: we count clicks (a total and a daily number). No personal data is stored with the count.
Legal basis
Newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. Abuse protection: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where data is stored (processors)
Data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV and the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., acting as our processor; data may be processed outside the EU under Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses). [If a newsletter provider is added later, it must be named here.]
Retention
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, then delete it within 30 days. Rate-limit data is deleted after 1 hour. Click counts contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to fixfairy@mail.grokbot.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. The only third-party script is the cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon described above; you can block it with any content blocker without affecting the site. Our host may keep short-lived technical logs for security.

We will update this page if anything changes and revise the date above.
